homeless people/lost in big city/sunshine/Ball/Sunburn Weekend RECAP :) Sounds Fun huh ?

Well, I had a pretty neat weekend. Ended up on the outskirts of Downtown Charlotte, got lost and saw so many Homeless people.
This honestly Broke my heart.  There seemed to be so many drugs,filth and violence on those streets.  One wrong turn down a small back road, 5 homeless men-mid 50's maybe sat on the curb. They sat there with their whole life in bags. Travel bags-trash bags- thick coats for their bed.  While driving by a female police officer was parked and talking to them.  This is their Life.  Wake up, walk a few roads searching for food and not even knowing what bridge or what alley they will end up in that night to lay there head and sleep only to start it all over again the next day.  This is something thats real. Not everyone has the opportunity to hit Record on their DVR when they are going to be out with friends while Army Wives comes on. They dont have clean-Dry socks on their feet or something just as simple as a Kleenex when their allergies drive them crazy.  Its just a reminder that we all should not take anything for granted. While we sleep in our warm beds tonight we should think and Pray and be thankful for what we have.. ya know?

On a lighter note!  I helped a good friend Bill shoot a debutante Ball on Saturday. This was such an awesome experience. The ceremony was so traditionally. The girls were all dressed and carried themselves so elegantly. They each wore their white dresses that were practically bridal gowns they were breathtaking. Along with the gowns they each wore long white gloves and were accompanied by their family, escorts and marshals. The event was "Eventful" haha. The  ceremonial dances and traditionally curtsy were new to me and I really enjoyed our time there!  Other than all of that I got PLENTY of sun today Laying out by the pool with friends that made GREAT company :)

Water does not put out a grease fire: Lesson learned of the week

I bet you are wondering about my Post title huh?   Maybe wondering if i managed to completely burn down a home or possibly just the kitchen?  I guess that I will just leave this one up to your imagination.

Ok. I will help just a little ;)

Candle apple Red was all that I could see through the thick smut or smoke I should say. I grabbed my face to make sure that I still had my eyebrows. Now back to that Red, with piercing sirens going off i figured it was just the Firemen coming to the rescue. I coughed then inhaled the black polluted air right back again. A stinging in my hand.. I'm pretty sure that it was burned but the adrenaline rush wouldn't let it bother me. [yeah.... i sound cool]  The Fire Alarm continued. I took a step back. Every things still here. Its OK.  The Fireman came to the door with a "The house is still standing this silly girl is wasting our time" face....  He opens the kitchen door, "Everything OK?"   Yep....i reply staring at the charred pot in the sink that got the best of me.. Grease Fires..... Gotta Love em!     [ the firemen had to come because of the alarm system. No the Fire wasnt serious] 

Yeah.... So it was no biggy just sounds cool. lol. Glad the Firemen thought it was cool. It was only their 2nd call of the day. Not too bad. I guess that Lancaster's doing pretty good on not starting/causing and preventing fires. :)   So.. Its a Beautiful Day! Birds singing their song while im Singing along with Dave Barnes.. If you don't know him Google him. He is Awesome. Busy day today so I shall sign off of here and get started..

LESSON LEARN :  BAKING SODA NOT WATER to a grease fire.. Its hard to remember that in the "heat" of the moment but Oh well...

My First Blog

YAY For New Beginnings!! :)   The Truth is I have wanted to start a Blog for so long and Finally I have had the time to sit down and begin. Its so simple & I was So worried it would be yet another project that keeps me up until 3 am. [ trust me this happens to me OFTEN.]

Here Goes... Not sure if Anyone will ever read it but Im starting now.  For those of you that do not know me you will hardly find me without my Camera at hand. My Passion and most loved hobby- My Photography. So I have created this blog in a way that i can Share with everyone my love and findings with my Camera at hand. I hope to bring much pleasure with my findings :)
